This week I wanted to focus on one of my favorite illustrators to date, Takashi Murakami. If you don't know his name you will know his work. Deemed as the Japanese Andy Warhol this soon to be pop art icon is a master at taking consumer culture and translating it into candy colored dream worlds. Some of his more recognizable works are found on Louis Vuitton handbags and featured on Kanye West's Graduation album art but his work does not stop there.
